Hiker on the Ribbon Rock

Andrea Vollink hikes along the ribbon rock at Red Rock State Park near Gallup, New Mexico. The park offers hikers a variety of terrain with surprising beauty around every corner. The somewhat challenging hike up to Pyramid Point yields an excellent view of the surrounding area while the trip to Churchrock, a distinctive steeple shaped rock, shows off some of the parks more interesting sandstone formations.
