072309 Brian Leddy.Investigators with Gallup Police Department and New Mexico State Police work a scene on Aztec Avenue on Thursday morning. An intoxicated male driver struck two pedestrians in wheelchairs as they motored down the road on Friday evening around 9pm. Ronald Skolte, 52, died at the scene while Tina Mulliner, 41, is in Albuquerque in satisfactory condition.
