Man Driving Wheelchair in Street

042809 Brian Leddy.(Originally shot this as a feature, but could this be a short story?)..John Scoopmire drives his electric wheelchair in the street on Aztec Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. "I wish the people who fixed the sidewalks had to ride on them, " he said. Scoopmire was referring to the fact that there are wheelchair ramps on some of the sidewalks, but not on the the opposite sides, making using them impossible for people like him.
