Before federal agents raided the place in 2001, Rainbow Farms Campground was a hippie utopia in southwest Michigan. Twice yearly marijuana legalization festivals festivals they held, called Hemp Aid and Roach Roast, by owners Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm. That all ended in 2001 when a standoff between authorities and the owners ended in tragedy. Crosslin and Rohm were both killed by FBI agents after nearly all of the buildings on the property were burned to the ground.
