Bridge Accident on Second Street

042308 Brian Leddy.Leonard Yazzie is arrested by Gallup Police Lt. Gerald Tholund on Wednesday for a DWI in Gallup, N.M. Yazzie, who is an employee with A.S. Horner Construction, was allegedly drinking on the job when coworker Benny Duboise, 31, of Mauelito, N.M., fell off the interstate bridge above Second Street. After medical officials hauled Duboise off, who later died of his injuries, Yazzie took off in a company truck and was pulled over for driving erratically on Maloney Avenue and arrested. Yazzie had been charged with five previous DWI's prior to his arrest on Wednesday.
