  • The arrival of The Blue Collar Boys on the western Kentucky hip-hop scene follows in the wake of Nappy Roots and their platinum album Watermelon, Chicken and Grits. Lil' Round, Hero and Kuntry Twang with their southern fried hip-hip hope to see the same success that has blessed many acts like theirs in recent years. Big V of the Nappy Roots makes a guest appearance on one of their tracks.

  • A street musician plays for tips in the shadows of the main stage on Broadway Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. While many performers, and their fans, pack the bars on Music Row nearly every evening, street performers stake out the key locations nearby hoping to make some extra money.

  • Before federal agents raided the place in 2001, Rainbow Farms Campground was a hippie utopia in southwest Michigan. Twice yearly marijuana legalization festivals festivals they held, called Hemp Aid and Roach Roast, by owners Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm. That all ended in 2001 when a standoff between authorities and the owners ended in tragedy. Crosslin and Rohm were both killed by FBI agents after nearly all of the buildings on the property were burned to the ground.
